The only true full-day summer camp in Lodi run by the City. Summer Safari Camp at Hutchins Street Square covers 7am to 6pm, Monday through Friday, with two age tracks: Kiddie Kamp (ages 4-5) and Kids Camp (ages 6-12). Starting at $45 per child with flexible daily and weekly passes (you can do partial weeks). Activities include arts and crafts, sports and games, snacks, walking field trips, and structured downtime. Lodi parents pick this when they need working-parent-hours childcare during summer break, when they want a city-run option (versus paying chain daycare prices), or when they need flexibility to book just specific weeks rather than commit to the whole summer. Important: registration is in-person at 230 W. Elm Street — no online signup. Bring vaccination records and emergency contact info. Fills up by mid-May historically.
