TERMS OF SERVICE
Last updated November 4, 2026
Kyds Activities LLC operates Kyds Activities (kydsactivities.com) and, under the fictitious business name Lodi Kids Activities, lodikidsactivities.com.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of those websites, the city pages on them (such as /ca/galt and the pages for cities we add), our mobile apps, and our AI features (together, "the Services"). "We," "us," and "our" mean Kyds Activities LLC. By creating an account, claiming an organization listing, or otherwise using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
1. WHAT THE SERVICES ARE
The Services are a free online directory of youth sports, classes, camps, kids programs, and child care in the cities we cover. Parents can search and filter listings, save programs, add their children, request tours, leave reviews, and opt in to email, push, and SMS reminders. Organizations that run youth programs can claim their listing and manage their program details.
We do not run the listed programs and are not responsible for what happens during them.
2. ACCOUNTS
You can browse most of the Services without an account. Saving programs, adding children, leaving reviews, reminders, and organization dashboards need one. Give accurate information and keep it accurate. Keep your login private. You are responsible for activity on your account.
You must be 18 or older to create a parent account, and you must be a parent or legal guardian. Organization accounts must be held by someone with authority to act for the organization.
You can delete your account in the app or by contacting us. See our Privacy Policy for what happens to your data.
3. LISTINGS COME FROM OTHER PEOPLE: CONFIRM WITH THE PROVIDER
Program and daycare listings are compiled from information that organizations give us and from public sources, such as organization websites, public registration feeds, and California Community Care Licensing records. We work to keep them current, but we cannot guarantee they are accurate, complete, or up to date. Dates, prices, ages, openings, and hours change.
Always confirm details with the provider before you register, pay, or show up. Licensing information is shown as of its source date. A license record does not tell you everything about a facility, and the status can change after that date. Check the state's own records for the latest.
If something about your organization is wrong or should be removed, see section 8.
4. AI FEATURES
KYDO, our AI search, and other AI-assisted content (such as summaries and suggested matches) are produced by AI systems, including systems run by Anthropic. They can be wrong, out of date, or miss something. Treat them as a starting point. Verify anything important with the provider before you rely on it, especially ages, safety, licensing, cost, and dates. Do not type your children's personal details into search. See our Privacy Policy for how searches are handled.
5. CONNECTING AN AI ASSISTANT
You may connect an AI assistant (such as Claude, ChatGPT, or another) to your account. This is optional and your choice. When you connect, you approve scopes that limit what the assistant can access or do, which may include your children's information, saved programs, and enrollments. You can see and revoke connections at any time in Account settings.
You are responsible for the assistant's actions on your account while it is connected. The assistant's provider is a third party. We do not control it and are not responsible for how it handles information it receives. We log tool calls (which tool, which account, when) but do not store their contents. We may limit or disconnect any assistant that misuses the Services.
6. ACCEPTABLE USE
You agree not to:
- Use the Services for any illegal purpose.
- Post content that is false, misleading, defamatory, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit, or otherwise objectionable.
- Submit reviews about programs your child did not attend, or reviews meant to harm a competitor.
- Claim an organization listing you do not represent.
- Scrape, copy, or republish our program data, reviews, or other content without our written permission.
- Interfere with the Services, including by sending malware, automated traffic, or unauthorized API requests.
- Use an AI assistant or automated tool to get around these rules or any limit we set.
7. TEXT MESSAGES (SMS)
Lodi Kids Activities, a service operated by Kyds Activities LLC, sends transactional text messages to parents who opt in. If you opt in, you agree to receive them as described in our Privacy Policy. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any text or by turning off "Text me reminders" in your account settings.
8. REVIEWS AND OTHER USER CONTENT
When you post a review, submit a program, upload a photo or flyer, or otherwise share content through the Services ("User Content"), you keep ownership of it and give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, distribute, and adapt it to operate and promote the Services. You promise that you own or have the right to share what you post, and that it is honest and based on your own experience.
We may moderate User Content. We can edit, hide, or remove anything that breaks these Terms or that we decide is harmful, misleading, or off-mission, and we may remove reviews that appear fake or retaliatory. Reviews are opinions of the people who wrote them, not ours.
Report a problem. Email hello@lodikidsactivities.com and tell us which review or listing you mean.
Providers: ask for a correction or removal. If you run a program, daycare, or organization and something we show about you is wrong, or you want a listing corrected or removed, email hello@lodikidsactivities.com. We will answer within 5 business days. Licensing information from public records may stay, shown with its source date, but we will correct mistakes we made in copying it.
9. ORGANIZATIONS, REGISTRATION, AND PAYMENTS
Organizations that accept registrations or payments through the Services agree to:
- Honor the terms of any program they accept payment for, including the refund and cancellation policy they publish.
- Keep program information accurate (dates, times, ages, costs, capacity).
- Let us keep a platform fee on transactions processed through the Services. The current fee is shown in the organization dashboard.
Stripe processes payments. Use of Stripe is also subject to Stripe's terms. The organization, not us, is the merchant and the seller of the program. Refunds and cancellations follow the organization's policy, and any refund is the organization's to give. We do not run the programs and are not a party to the sale between a parent and an organization.
10. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The Services, including our names, logos, design, code, editorial guides, and aggregated program data, are owned by us and protected by U.S. and international law. Nothing in these Terms gives you any right to use our intellectual property except as expressly allowed.
11. REFERRAL PROGRAM
If we offer referral links, you may share yours with other parents. We credit a referral when a new parent signs up through your link within 30 days of clicking it. Referral credit, badges, and any perk we offer have no cash value, cannot be sold or transferred, and we can change or end the program at any time. Do not use fake accounts, spam, or misleading claims to earn referrals. Self-referrals do not count.
12. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
The Services link to and use third-party services, including organization websites, registration platforms, Stripe (payments), Twilio (SMS), Resend (email), Supabase and Vercel (hosting and database), Google (analytics), Expo, Apple, and Google (notifications), and Anthropic (AI). We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of third parties. Their own terms govern your use of them.
13. MOBILE APPS: APPLE AND GOOGLE TERMS
This section applies if you get our app from the Apple App Store or Google Play.
- These Terms are between you and us only. Apple and Google (the "Stores") are not parties to them and are not responsible for the app or its content.
- Our license to you is limited, non-transferable, and lets you use the app on devices you own or control, under the Stores' usage rules.
- We, not the Stores, are responsible for maintenance and support of the app, and for any claims about it. The Stores have no duty to provide maintenance or support.
- If the app fails to meet a warranty that applies by law, you may tell the Store, which may refund the purchase price if any (the app is free). The Stores have no other warranty duty for the app.
- We, not the Stores, are responsible for any claims that the app infringes someone's intellectual property rights.
- You confirm you are not in a country under a U.S. embargo and are not on a U.S. list of prohibited parties.
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms for the iOS app and may enforce them against you.
- You must also follow the Stores' terms and any third-party terms that apply to your device or service.
14. DISCLAIMERS
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." WE MAKE NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, ABOUT THE SERVICES, INCLUDING THAT LISTINGS, LICENSING DATA, OR AI OUTPUT ARE ACCURATE, CURRENT, OR COMPLETE; THAT ANY PROGRAM OR PROVIDER IS SAFE, LICENSED, OR RIGHT FOR YOUR CHILD; OR THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE.
YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR DECIDING WHETHER A PROGRAM OR PROVIDER IS A GOOD FIT FOR YOUR FAMILY, INCLUDING ANY SAFETY, LICENSING, OR INSURANCE QUESTIONS. WE SHOW MATCHES; WE DO NOT VOUCH FOR ANY PROVIDER.
15. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE SERVICES WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (USD $100) OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
16. INDEMNIFICATION
You agree to defend and hold harmless us, our founders, employees, and contractors from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the Services, your User Content, your use of a connected AI assistant, or your violation of these Terms.
17. TERMINATION
You can stop using the Services at any time. We can suspend or end your account at any time, with or without notice, if you break these Terms or if we stop offering the Services. Sections that by their nature should survive (intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, governing law) survive.
18. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or the Services will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in San Joaquin County, California, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
19. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these Terms. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and, when appropriate, tell you by email or in the Services. If you keep using the Services after an update, you accept the revised Terms.
