The City of Lodi's flagship recreational basketball league, K-6th grade. Co-ed, organized into three age divisions: K-1, 2-3, and 4-6. 12-week program with practices and games Monday through Thursday evenings at Lodi gyms. ~$75 per kid — one of the cheapest organized sports in Lodi. Volunteer parent coaches needed (the city actively recruits — coaching is a path to free or discounted registration). Lodi parents pick this when they want their kid in basketball without paying club-level prices, when they want a multi-grade league where their kid plays kids their own age, or when they want a neighborhood-scale community feel (these games are where Lodi parents see other Lodi parents). For grades 7-8, BOBS runs Comet Basketball.
