Russian classical ballet in Lodi, which is a serious credential — most local ballet studios teach a generic mix of styles, but IBTI specifically trains the Vaganova method (the formal Russian school). The founder, Alexei Badrak, is a St. Petersburg Conservatory graduate who performed at the Bolshoi and Mariinsky Theaters. The studio has been operating in Lodi since 1997. Lodi parents pick this when they have a kid who is genuinely serious about ballet (this is not a casual dance class), when they want technical rigor and small group attention rather than recital-focused dance schools, or when they need a program that can certify a kid for competitive ballet auditions.
