Beginning ballet for Lodi kids ages 6-7 through City of Lodi Parks and Rec. Held at Thomas Theatre Gallery inside Hutchins Street Square. $79 resident / $150 non-resident per session. Multiple monthly sessions available May through July. The bridge class between the Ballet Pre-School age (3-5) and the Ballet Levels I-V progression (which kicks in around age 7-8). Curriculum focuses on classical technique fundamentals (positions, posture, basic vocabulary) without assuming any prior experience. Lodi parents pick this when their 6-or-7-year-old is too old for Pre-School ballet but not ready to enter the Level I track midway, when they want their kid getting real ballet technique versus generic dance classes, or when they want a city-run program with the resident pricing advantage rather than a private studio.
