The City of Lodi's elite-track ballet class for dancers with prior classical ballet training, ages 9 and up. Pointe work (dancing on the tip of your shoes) is a serious milestone that requires real foundational strength — kids cannot just walk in and start. Held at Thomas Theatre Gallery inside Hutchins Street Square. Sessions run monthly through the school year. Check Lodi Parks and Rec for the current month. $79 resident / $150 non-resident per session. Lodi parents pick this when their kid has been in Ballet III or IV for at least a year and is ready for pointe, when their dance studio does not offer pointe instruction, or when they want a structured pointe-prep program that does not require committing to a competitive ballet school like IBTI.
