BOBS - Boosters of Boys/Girls Sports
Lodi's longest-running youth tackle football program, run by BOBS in partnership with the City of Lodi. Recreational tackle football for ages 6-13. The Colts have over 60 years of history in Lodi, and many of the head coaches are former Colts players themselves. Lodi parents pick this when their kid is ready for real tackle (versus flag), when they want a tackle league with deep local roots and experienced coaches rather than a chain organization, or when they need scholarship assistance (BOBS offers it). Season runs July through November with weekday practices and weekend games at various Lodi fields. Cost: $250 plus a $50 refundable equipment deposit.
