The City of Lodi's umbrella ballet program led by Kermit Allen, with both recreational classes and performance-level work. Includes annual Nutcracker performances, which is the biggest local ballet event of the year — even non-dance Lodi families attend. Programs span ages 3 through 18 with recreational, intermediate, and performance levels available. Lodi parents pick this when they want a multi-year ballet pathway under one program (your kid can stay with Lodi Ballet from preschool through high school), when they want the prestige and tradition of the Nutcracker production for performance opportunities, or when they want a city-run program with the resident pricing advantage rather than private studio rates. Specific classes (Ballet Pre-School, Ballet Levels I-V, Pointe, Tots Tap and Tumble) are listed separately on this site with their schedules.
