The City of Lodi's youth volleyball league, ages 8-13. 8-week program with two divisions: ages 8-10 and ages 11-13. Practices and games on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. ~$75 per kid through Parks and Rec — same low entry price as the basketball league. Lodi parents pick this when their kid wants to try volleyball before middle school offers it, when they want an 8-week commitment instead of a 12-week one (basketball is longer), or when they want a sport that develops hand-eye coordination and team timing differently than the sports their kid already plays. Volunteer coaches are sometimes needed — check with Parks and Rec.
