The competitive tackle football alternative to Lodi Colts. Jr Flames is CVYFC (Central Valley Youth Football Conference) affiliated, which means they play other CVYFC teams across the region (more travel, more competitive intensity than Colts). Flag football for ages 3-5 and tackle football for ages 6-14. Lodi parents pick this when they want their kid in a more competitive football environment than BOBS Colts, when they want regional play against teams from Stockton/Modesto/etc, or when their kid has aspirations toward middle school or high school football. Registration opens in February and closes around July 15. Practice begins early-to-mid July, 5 days a week. Season runs September through November with playoffs, championships, and end-of-year banquet. Confirm current dates at lodijuniorflames.com.
