Kids read aloud to a team of certified therapy dogs at the Lodi Public Library. Free, no registration, just show up. Reading to a dog takes the pressure off. There is no correcting and no grade, which is why programs like this work well for kids who are self-conscious about reading out loud or who are still building confidence. Wednesdays from 3 to 5 p.m. with the 2026 team of dogs.
