Overview

Lodi Parks and Rec youth sports programs are run in partnership with the Boosters of Boys and Girls Sports (BOBS) – a volunteer-led organization that has served Lodi youth for over 60 years. Together they offer recreational sports for kids from age 3 all the way through high school. All registration is handled online through the City of Lodi's ActiveNet portal at apm.activecommunities.com/lodipandrhss. Tot Sports (Ages 3-6)

Tot Sports is the City's intro sports program for toddlers and preschoolers. Sessions are 6 weeks with game days only – no separate practices. Four sports rotate throughout the year:

  • Tot Soccer Session 1 – Registration December through February, games March through April
  • Tot T-Ball – Registration December through April, games May through June
  • Tot Soccer Session 2 – Registration April through June, games July through August
  • Tot Basketball – Registration July through August, games September through October

Youth Soccer (Ages 5-14)

Co-ed recreational soccer through the City of Lodi Parks and Rec. Teams are formed by age group and all skill levels are welcome. Volunteer coaches are needed each season.

Junior Basketball Leagues (Grades K-6)

Co-ed recreational basketball with three grade-based divisions – grades K-1, grades 2-3, and grades 4-6. All divisions run as a 12-week program with practices and games Monday through Thursday evenings at Lodi gyms.

Junior Volleyball Leagues (Ages 8-13)

Two divisions – ages 8-10 and ages 11-13. 8-week program with practices and games on Tuesday and Thursday evenings.

Youth Tennis Classes (Ages 6-17)

Beginner through advanced levels offered monthly year-round at American Legion Park, 835 S Hutchins St. Courts have evening lighting available.

Youth Running Club (Ages 6-14)

Spring running program through the City of Lodi. Builds endurance, social skills, and fitness.

Summer camp focusing on water safety, rescue skills, first aid, and teamwork. Great preparation for future lifeguard certification.

Summer Swim League (Ages 6-17)

Skyhawks Sports Academy (Ages 2-14)

The City of Lodi registers Skyhawks Sports Academy sessions monthly throughout the year at Hutchins Street Square. Programs include soccer, flag football, cheer, Pickleball Youth League (ages 7-14), Beach Volleyball (ages 5-13), and SuperTots multi-sport (ages 2-5). Sessions run most months of the year.
